Welcome to my studio.

This is where the magic happens. Time slows down. Podcasts or soulful tunes play on repeat. Over-exposure to wet clay turns hands wrinkly. There is something familiar and meditative about each pot, as well as challenging. There is always something to attain - the right curve, how the shapes are combined and a balance between aesthetics and functionality. As well as something to let go of - when the whole pot is a flop or accepting an imperfect pot because it reflects me as a human, as a creator, at a point in time.

My home studio is too special not to share. The open space is beautifully clad with warm plywood. A shared workbench and three wheels look out over the garden. By offering two afternoons each week, where my studio is open to past and present students, I hope to create a welcoming environment that fosteres creativity, fun, wellbeing and community. There is then the option to use my glazes and hire kiln space to complete your work.
